An Island Vacation! Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
If you are looking for beauty and tranquility, Turks and Caicos is the place. From the States, a passport is needed. The US dollar and credit cards are accepted by all the vendors we used. I wasn’t brave enough to try the conch but it’s a specialty on the island. The nightlife is non-existent. Come here to relax, lay on the beach, enjoy watersports, and explore.
Our accommodations were approximately two blocks from the beachfront. As with most islands. the food is a bit expensive so… of course, we decided to stop at the grocery store, Graceway Gourmet. Sooo thankful for the mini-fridge in the room 🙂
However, there is nothing like a good restaurant. So… on our first night we ate at Calico Jack’s. The food was good. Also try Seaside Cafe; the food was Great!!
above: Calico Jack’s Pub/restaurant–there is also outside seating, be patient as food delivery and service is on ‘Island Time”
PARA-SAILING- sign your life away–and they’ll take you on a boat and fly you like a kite: FUN
